High-quality equipment is the key to the success of a dental clinic. A doctor’s success depends on the quality of medical equipment.

Our mission is to contribute to the improvement of dental treatment quality through the introduction of new technologies. To introduce dentists to affordable innovative products for the improvement of daily practice. We want to be a symbol of the development of advanced technologies and science in dentistry. Innovative products for dentists with an optimal price-quality ratio and broad practical value, which we have found to achieve this goal

CAD/CAM SYSTEMS IN DENTISTRY

CAD / CAM (computer aided design-computer aided manufacturing), that is, computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing, entered dentistry and provided a lot of convenience. The first CAD/CAM system used; He was working with a very precise milling machine working with computer software to produce crowns, bridges and fixed prosthetic substructures from ceramic, composite or metal blocks.
The increasing aesthetic expectations of the patients have formed the basis of the radical changes in the clinical practices of restorative dentistry. Therefore, the prevalence of CAD/CAM systems in dentistry has increased.

This system basically consists of 3 steps;
1- Scanning of three-dimensional surface;
A CAM scan is made with an optical surface scanner and a three-dimensional computer model of the surface is obtained. To create a single, coherent data set of the object, the data points obtained from each scan are lined up with CAD software, combined, and the resultant point cloud is used to create the three-dimensional surface model. A three-dimensional computer model is created using triangular polygons on the screen.
2- Three-dimensional computer aided design;
Scans are reviewed electronically using appropriate software. The prosthesis is shaped on the scanned surface model with three-dimensional CAD software. A physical plastic model of the prosthesis is created using the RP (Rapid Prototyping) stereolithography machine.
3- Fabrication;

After the model is created, the porcelain block selected according to the size of the prosthesis to be made is placed in the cutting part of the device. Machine adjustments are made and the prosthesis is finished.
So what are the advantages of this system?

➤ It has removed the measurement process and reduced the waiting time.
➤ It has enabled better restorative materials to be obtained in a shorter time.
➤ Reduced the margin of error
➤It has eliminated the risk of contamination that may arise from indirect restorations.
➤It has facilitated the work of patients and doctors as well as technicians and has enabled them to get higher quality results faster.
