Cardiology is the science that deals with diseases of the heart and circulatory system. Cardiology, which was shown as a sub-branch of internal medicine in the past, is now a separate branch.

It is a department where clinical and laboratory studies are carried out in all areas of cardiology, diagnosis and treatment methods are applied. Adult Cardiology includes a coronary intensive care unit, a service where patients are followed up after catheterization, a cardiology outpatient clinic, and a cardiology laboratory where non-invasive tests (ECG, exercise test, echocardiography, etc.) are performed.

Heart diseases, which manifest themselves with various symptoms such as chest tightness, palpitations, gas complaints, shortness of breath, feeling of tiredness and rarely fever, are one of the main health problems in the world and in our country. Heart diseases occur in a wide age range, from very young to old age. Due to the gradual increase of these diseases and their bad results, our hospital has given the necessary importance to this area and has paid attention to the studies related to it.
